This classic delicious Shrimp Po Boy is loaded with golden brown flavor bomb shrimp nestled in a soft french bread and coated and a zesty cajun sauce or remoulade sauce. Embedded in shredded iceberg lettuce and juicy red tomatoes.
Po boy sandwiches include many different ingredients, such as roast beef, oysters, catfish, soft shell crabs, ham and cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. The poor boy sandwich was created by the Martin brothers in 1929 during the streetcar strike in New Orleans. The Martin Brothers would offer the sandwich for free to union members at their restaurant.
