It amazes me at the prices in the grocery store these days. I was picking up a few items in the grocery store, and I wanted something sweet but, didn't want to go home and pull out the flour, sugar, blah, blah, blah. I wanted instant gratification. I saw a Pecan Ring in the bakery section, but I was not willing to pay the price for that Pecan Ring. I thought to myself I can make that at home for less than that and keep that money in my pocket. Sometimes you can be that innovator and create the best dish with items leftover in your freezer, fridge, and pantry. So I went home and came up with my own version of a Pecan Ring. This recipe is so quick and easy and the warm buttery brown sugar and cinnamon nestled up in the nooks and crannies, of the dough, toasted pecans and golden plump raisins definitely satisfied the sweet tooth craving I was having.
You can make this recipe your own if you don't like pecans use the walnuts, almonds, pistachios. You can omit the raisins or substitute with dried cranberries. This is a great dish for breakfast as a breakfast snack with a hot cup of java, mid-day snack, or late night sneak a piece before you go to bed goodness.

Do I have to use Parker House Rolls or can I substitute?
You can use can biscuits or the can cinnamon rolls. I had left over frozen rolls. This is a quick and easy recipe but, you can also make your own dough.
What's the best way to reheat the Pecan Ring?
If you like your Pecan Ring warm you can zap it in the microwave for 10 seconds or air fryer 350°F for about 5 minutes or until warmed throughout.
