Oreo Cookies & Cream Ice Cream Pie

Updated: Jan 26, 2023

You scream and I scream, let's all scream for Cookies & cream Ice Cream pie. This quick and easy dessert was inspired by my youngest son. He loves cookie butter and chocolate. When he was younger I would not give him chocolate because he would get so hyper. Today, he is all grown up and can handle the chocolate.

This recipe is so quick and easy first, because it does not require an ice cream maker, only your favorite flavor. If you want to go the extra mile you can make your own.

This would be great for a summer snack with the neighborhood kids. Birthday party dessert, or a late night sneak a snack.

Store Tip:

Ice cream pie will keep in the freezer covered in plastic wrap up to 8 days. Anything past 8 days is still edible but ice crystal may start to form and the quality of the pie begins to weaken.

Ingredients for Oreo Cookies & Cream Ice Cream Pie

Oreo Pie Crust- Homemade or Store purchased will work for this recipe

Ice Cream- This recipe is using vanilla but you can use your favorite flavor

Cookie Butter- Biscotti cookie butter is this dish that cookie and cream dream

Let's Get Started

  • Half gallon (2 quarts) favorite ice cream

  • Crusted Oreo cookies mixed with melted butter (or 9-inch store-brought pie crust) Oreo Cookie Pie Crust

  • Biscotti Cookie butter

  1. Place both jars of Biscotti cookie butter in the microwave and allow to melt

  2. Allow the vanilla ice cream to thaw until slightly soft and scoop-able

  3. Gently begin layering the cookie butter first about 1" thick, add the second layer of vanilla ice cream, and add a layer of crushed Oreos.

Repeat the layering and place the pie in the freezer until firm.

Bon Appetit, ENJOY!
