Another 1,2,3 easy way to your heart and belly with crispy homemade tortilla chips using 3 ingredients, well I guess 4 if you are including the oil to fry. Okay! 1,2,3,4 let's go!


Nachos are a great comfort food and a great option for game day appetizer. So many delicious recipes can be developed with nachos. Who doesn't like a crispy bowl of nachos & cheese, guacamole & chips, loaded nachos, spinach dip & chips? You name it, a crispy nacho is ready for the show.


I like the corn tortilla to make nacho chips, I tried the flour but, my preference are the corn tortilla. The chips are crispy and holds up to all the toppings I love to pile on top.

Ingredients Homemade Tortilla Chips

  • Corn Tortillas- 1 bag of corn tortillas make the best crispy nachos

  • Salt- to enhance the flavor of the chips

  • Lime- just a squeeze to add a little zest

  • Oil- to crisp up that tortilla nacho chip

  • Pair with your favorite spinach dip, loaded nachos, Pico de Gallo, guacamole, or just drizzle your favorite vegan cheese sauce.

  • Cut the corn tortilla into four sections to create the nacho chips, One tortilla makes 8 chips. First in half then diagonal.

  • Repeat two more times until you have 8 sections.

  • Heat the oil in a Dutch oven or deep pan. Cook the nachos in batches

  • Place on a rack, season with salt, and squeeze a touch of lime juice.
