Spinach- Fresh or frozen can be used in this recipe. I used frozen. Make sure all of the water is removed from the spinach. Fresh is always best, but frozen is just as good.
Onions- in a pan with butter, salt, pepper, and finely chopped onions.
Sour cream- provides a little tart taste to the finish spinach dip
