Ingredients Creamed Spinach
1 lb. fresh spinach or frozen
1 small onion diced
4 oz. cream cheese
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp butter
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup chicken broth (optional)
Let's Cook!
Over medium heat melt the butter. Add in the finely chopped onions. Allow them to cook until they are soften and translucent.
Add the fresh spinach. If using frozen spinach, thaw out completely, then squeeze out the excess water.
Pour in the chicken broth and allow the spinach to wilt down and become completely cooked.
Add in soften cream cheese. Blend well until the cream cheese is completely dissolved.
Pour the parmesan cheese mix well and allow to melt. Creamed Spinach is ready to serve.
