Classic meatballs and spaghetti is one of my son's favorite meals. Meatballs are mini meatloaf balls in my opinion. You could take this same recipe and create meatloaf. It is important not to over fill your meatball with bread crumbs. You want to taste the meat not bread filler.
Delicious herb and cheese filled meatballs coated in parmesan cheese and spaghetti sauce with fresh parsley. So satisfying to the taste buds.
This recipe uses ground turkey and ground beef. You can switch out the protein to whatever works best for you. Ground chicken, ground pork, or some people use lamb to make meatballs. For this recipe I use Worcestershire sauce to help flavor the ground turkey. It really brightens the flavor of the ground turkey and marries well with the ground beef as well.

Instructions- In a large mixing bowl blend the ground turkey and ground beef together along with the chopped onions, basil, oregano, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, chopped parsley, salt and black pepper. Mix well with your hands.
Whisk the two eggs and pour into the large bowl with the meat mixture. Form the meatballs the size of a golf ball. Place the meatball in the freezer for 15-20 minutes to firm up.
Place the meatballs in a cast iron skillet with olive oil and sear on all sides and place in an oven at 350° F for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and add your favorite spaghetti sauce or make your own homemade sauce.
In a sauce pan added pasta to salted boiling water. Add 1 package of pasta into the water and return to boil. Stirring occasionally for 8-10 minutes. Drain the pasta and add to the marinara sauce. Making sure the marinara sauce coats the pasta, toss several with the meatballs. Sprinkle parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
